Stages
Overview of the Process
Discovery Meeting
During this face to face meeting, we’ll go over all your needs for your home and any ideas you may have gathered. It’s important that our designs fit your needs in both form and function, so that you get the perfect result.
Our discovery meeting provides you with the chance to have a relaxed conversation regarding every room, future plans, how the space will be used, colours and give us a more thorough vision of what you want and need.
This process can bring up a lot of new design ideas that will be included in your updated brief and scope. It also helps us to begin to plan the process, identify and manage any specialist consultants such as structural engineers and any outside trades that need to be involved.
Concept Development
The concept development stage brings together all the elements discussed at the discovery meeting, in a visual format.
Using images which evoke a sense of the design direction, we will create a pathway for the design of your property.
The concepts give you an overview of how each room could look along with the overarching connecting elements, throughout the home.
By having this direction agreed, you will start to see your new home unfolding in a harmonious and cohesive way.
Design Development
With the agreed concepts in hand, we can now bring together a full design.
You will be presented an Initial Design for each space with accompanying materials and samples of finishes allowing you to touch, feel and visualise how the designs will look, all within budget.
We will provide a comprehensive FF&E* presentation, along with M&E** drawings (where applicable) and rendered visuals, that allow you to understand exactly what investments are needed to bring your design to life.
This isn’t just an idea, it’s now a plan unfolding!
Feedback will be taken during the Initial Design presentation, with the designs then iterated and represented once more, for sign-off.
Co-ordination & Delivery
Creating a harmonious and comfortable home starts long before everything has been delivered and put in place.
When taking on a project, we carefully plan the procurement, warehousing, delivery and installation process, in advance, to ensure that all elements are executed in the correct order and within the given timeframe.
We collaborate with architects, contractors and trades to make sure the process runs smoothly and efficiently.
We take the time to ensure that each item is placed in the perfect spot and that the overall aesthetic is cohesive and inviting.
Our goal is for your home to feel like home from the very first moment you step through the door.
*FF&E – Furniture, Fittings & Equipment (loose furniture, bespoke joinery design etc)
**M&E – Mechanical & Electrical (internal changes, lighting, electrical, plumbing designs etc)
FAQs
-
If you have an idea or are completely lost with what to do with your property, we suggest starting by gathering some images that resonate with you and represent your dream home. Even if they look like a muddle to you we will make sense of the direction! Pinterest is a great source of inspiration and easy to create boards for each space. We will also need architectural plans and an idea of timescale and budget (even if it is an estimate). Once you have some of this information, get in touch by submitting an inquiry.
-
The cost varies depending on the size, scope and timeline of your project. We will cost up your project, using a set hourly rate and give you a full breakdown of where that time is going, before we start any work. We work with an open book policy and complete transparency on both our design fees and pricing of products - there are no hidden margins!
-
A project timeline is, in most part, determined by the contractor, builder and trades. If you have a contractor already we will ask them to provide us with a schedule of works and from there we will layer in our design work and the corresponding specialist trades.
-
This is completely up to you. We will adapt to your preferences and work in the manner that suits you best. Some clients have a hands-off approach, due to time constraints, where as others prefer to be active, engaging in discussions and providing input at every step.
Regardless, our expertise lies in pushing design boundaries, guiding you outside your comfort zone to introduce fresh, exciting elements you may not have explored. Embracing this journey promises remarkable results!

We do not have minimum or maximum project size restrictions; however, our Full Service Interior Design projects are typically entire homes, new builds or full rennovations, however that does not mean that a full rennovation of one room cannot be done under our full service interior design.

Locally in and around the Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey area, we can make recommendations for contractors, builders and other trades such as joiners, that we have worked with in the past and have great working relationships with. We will happily introduce you to them, however it is up to you to hire them. With regards to other trades such as joiners and specilist decorators, we will engage with them initally, obtain quotes on your behalf, however again, hiring them is down to you.
We also have tried and tested trades in the London area that we are also able to recommend.
